We have several older lift installations within our Blackpool Hotel which for many years have been unreliable and subject to many negative reviews by our visiting guests.
Total Lift Care offered to carry out a free of charge survey on each lift and provided their ‘traffic light’ (red, amber green) reports which indicated short-, medium- and long-term improvement goals to achieve safe and reliable operation of our lifts.
This process is simple to understand and allows us to programme improvement work during our closed season.
We have now commenced with their suggested improvements and our returning guests have already noticed and commented on the lift’s reliability, performance and visual modem appearance. We are happy we made the move to Total Lift Care.

The home was committed to improve the security of the building, its residents and staff and we therefore it was suggested we look to minimize the number of contractors entering the care home as part of these improvements.
We therefore approached Total Lift Care on this matter and after carrying out a survey on the main passenger lift and the resident’s lifting equipment, they offered us a
‘Turn Key’ maintenance solution offering to provide routine maintenance and repair on the passenger lift and all the homes lifting equipment.
We now have one contractor entering our building instead of three different companies, further more Total Lift Care staff are fully uniformed, their vehicles carry their company livery and due to their regular attendance, their staff are now fully compliant with our home’s safety procedures.

The school identified several internal access issues some years ago installing low level platform lifts and incline wheelchair lifts.
Since installation several of our lifts failed however when we attempted to have the equipment repaired, we found that the UK supply agents were no longer able to support the products or technically unable to repair the installations to working order. Following an inspection of the inoperative lifts Total Lift Care were able to repair failed electronic control boards locally and identify alternative types of mechanical components to enable the lifts to be returned to safe working order.
The work in some cases were carried out outside school hours to further safeguard our pupils and minimise general disruption, thank you.
